Welcome to the list Sara.
I am so excited your working with MS office for the mac to make it accessible.
I agree with all that have posted here how effective and efficient it would be
to have excel and word and office products accessible.
Thank you for working toward a solution and I would be ha
Hello Nic,
You asked:
For a number of audiobooks I have downloaded I have album art in the
form of jpg files.
Does anyone know how to add these as album art using VoiceOver?
You can add album art to your audiobooks in iTunes the same way that
you add tagging information: by selecting the track
Hi Gang,
I'm able to attach files such as documents to my mail messages, but am
absolutely failing when trying to attach pictures--can anyone give me some
pointers? Whenever I try to access them I am only able to find dates and
things like that, but only what I think are the dates in which I

It seems to be fairly accessible. The problem is figuring out how the heck
you actually scan and OCR a document.

Hello Sara,
Thank you for joining the list and asking for inputs about MS office.
It's difficult to give detailed feedback because the text area of
Microsoft Word for the Mac, where all the actual composition and user
interaction takes place, cannot be accessed at all with VoiceOver. My

OKay, I accept there are different views on this and I'm not going to get my
way. But I can't help continuing the discussion now it's started.
I already have a separate mailbox just for this list and server side

Personally, the inaccessibility of Microsoft Word for Mac didn't stop me from
switching over to the Mac. I run a Mac without Windows installed, but I do
still have an old Windows machine. It also hasn't stopped many, many blind
people I know from using Macs.

Thanks, Esther! You're amazing, as always!
That worked exactly as you said (of course). My problem was that previously I
had been in the edit multiple information view, and the album art work tab
didn't appear.
And this is my problem. Most of my audiobooks that are missing album art are

Hi Nic,
OK, there is a way to add artwork to more than one track at a time, if you
select multiple tracks and use Command-I, but you have to do this on the Info
tab. Select your tracks, do a "Get Info" and move to the Info tab, then use
item chooser menu to navigate to "artwork well" and paste
Hi all.
This should be my last question about pages.
Thank you for all of your assistance so far.
Is there a way to say if something is centered or left alind?
Also, how can i center just the title or particular text?
Thank you.

Hi,
How about when when some one reads a message but, they don't know who the
person was actually replying to? For example, your post that I'm replying to

But either which way, I think its asking a bit much for hundre
Yeah, that's a great option in Mac OS. Unfortunately your desired function to
answer a call is not a menue command and so it doesn't work in this case. The
answer button is just a button in a dialogue box. But in general it's great to
define all the hotkeys you want to.

Hello,
just to let Sara and the others know: The german Mac users are also absolutely
interested in an accessible MS Office for Mac. Word processing is one of the
biggest issues for blind Mac users in my country. Apples iWork could also be
more accessible in certain functions and it's to compl
