True.
But, that could just mean the information hasn't been updated in years. I'm
very interested in knowing if this issue does indeed affects 2012 Mac minis
running 10.8. Anyone with first hand knowledge, I'd love to hear from you.

Curious, what made you decide to go for an iMac instead of a Macbook which is
portable?
I own both an iMac and a Macbook, and to be honest I do sit at my iMac more.
But I am pondering would I update my Macbook or iMac or just have a really high
spec Macbook Air to replace both.

I felt like a change! Also I will be getting a MacBook Air so I will have
portibility. Also getting Windows 8 to chrissen the I Mac with. Sold my Windows
7 along with my present Mac Book Pro for quite a good deal. I am proud of
myself.

I have been trying to figure out how to move in individual window. I know I

You can press vo-accent, then use the arrow keys to move the window. Press
esacape to stop moving it. I don't know of a way to immediately jump ot to any
edge of the screen, but then I'm not able to use a monitor for much of anything
so I don't have much experience in this.

It seems to be functioning well for me, too. I press command-space to bring up
Spotlight, then I land in the search field. I type in what I want to search
for, press tab, then use the arrow keys to explore the results. I then press
enter on the desired one.

Yes, and this has always worked before. Now, whenever I put anything in the
search field and press tab, there is nothing: no speech, no error message, no
list to explore. I tried rebooting. Still the same result. I don't know what
else to try.

If Nook works anything like Kobo, you need to go to your library on the Nook

O, and another thing...
I wonder if the NTSC converter in question restricts the Mac to some
screen resolution beyond which it cannot go. I want to make sure I do
not run in trouble with applications that rely on higher resolution
parameters.

Unfortunately, the adapter alone doesn't work. I tried that and even a VGA
adapter. I had to use the converter box. The box is very small. It's
probably the size of a deck of playing cards, maybe a few inches longer. It's
tucked under the self on my desk well out of the way.
