Perhaps that setting is only for the keyboard on the mac itself? Or that
Logitech keyboards f keys can't be changed. I don't know, seeing as I don't
have that keyboard, but it doesn't make sense that you can't change the
function. Also, if you can't, just press the FN key with a function key,

One way to get around these complicated keyboard issues is unloading VO from
the native Mac side. It is easy to turn off and on, and sometimes, it is much
quicker than trying to figure out key bypass commands.

I think you may have tried to save the script to a non-existent folder. When I
read your earlier post, you stated your save location was
"Macintosh/Library/Scripts" (without the quotation marks) so if you used the

my plan is to import my intire library, get all the tracks in high
quality then some how have it remove the lower quality mp3 tracks.

Well, I got the script working just fine with option+w. Now, when I run the
script, it gives me the word count just fine; but now, right after I hear the
word count, I cannot then use VoiceOver for anything without pressing
command+F5 four times to restart it. Any thoughts?
