Hey all. I just found another glitch. When using Voice Over in Lion, if you're
using one of the Nuance voices and you have Adium events spoken aloud to you,
prepare to not receive them. But if you're using Alex, then you have nothing to
fear. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Hi DOnna,
Can you clarify this a bit? I see unread and read message status just fine,
though the status does change because of the way I have my preview pane set up.
Best,
Zack.

Well, I took the preview pane down to zero as was described earlier.
Basically, I hear all the usual message info except the status information.
Best,
Donna

Hi Dona,
How are you moving between messages? I'm using the arrow keys alone, without
the VO keys. a bit more verbose, but it isn't too bad. Similarly, I don't
interact with the list.
Best,
Zack.

Hi Zack,
I'm doing the same thing you are.

Doesn't command/option/L while in Safari to get to the downloads list work in
Lion? I haven't updated yet. I'm taking the wait and see approach. :)

Hi DOnna,
Very odd. WHen you say "status" are we talking about the same thing? For
instance, when I view this conversation if it's closed and there are unread
messages I hear "unread" before opening it.
You might want to switch to the classic layout, which is more or less identical
to the wa
Just did that. And still no status is spoken.

Hi DOnna,
I'm puzzled. I hear status just fine, whether unread or replied. I don't have
any idea why you shouldn't. What do you hear with a closed conversation that
has unread messages?
Best,
Zack.

I only seen about 4 choices for voices. Is there another place to go to get
more?

Hi, There's a customize button at the bottom of that popup menu. That's where
you get the other voices. Be aware, though, that they're quite large to
download.
