Thanks,

Hi Josh and all,
I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who is having trouble with Google
Translate. I think contacting Google about this is a great idea. Do they have
an E-mail address? Have a great day.

Hi All,
I wanted to give you the link for the Riner file. My Dropbox finally works
again. I thought it might help people get an idea of what this little app can
do. I think it's $15. Here's the link:

Hi all,
This is in no way an attempt to promote my podcast, but I just did one on
Pages. Since there was some talk about the advantages and disadvantages of
Pages I thought I'd do a little demo. This is not a comprehensive demo, and if
you have suggestions on how to improve or things you'd lik
Yes, it works with both. By the way, I reconnected my router when I got home
for work, and it's working fine now, so not sure what the deal was.

hi listers, after downloading the newest iphone update i discovered
that when typing text, voice over does not announce some of the
letters needed to type, so if you don't have a good memory of the
letters layout on the keyboard, you are in trouble. i would email
accessibility with these findings.
I thought htye had that fixed? I heard complaining from several beta testers
about this but yeah email apple access about this.
Take care.

If I put my Mac Mini to sleep overnight, would it still charge my Ipod Shuffle?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Gregg. To make these changes you need to stop Voiceover from tracking
the cursor. Before you stop interacting with the body of your document, turn
off the Voiceover Tracking and then stop interacting. You will find that the
buttons become available. I found this out while working with my trai
can you post the exact steps to replicate this? I'm not having any trouble at

Hm, my letters are reading ok, but I am noticing that some of the speech is
cutting off slightly prematurely. Not enough to make it unusable, but enough
to be annoying. It's like on some things, the very last syllable gets cut in
half, is the best way I know to describe it. With letters, it's no
Hi,
Yes I'm having the same behavior. I think the update increased the speech
rate. I noticed the speech was a bit faster. I lowered the rate and that
solved the problem.

Hi Kawal,
I'm recycling my August 18 post to the VIPhone list. HTH for future reference.
While reading list posts on your iPhone you can reply privately by taking

I'm looking forward to hearing your podcast about Pages. I hope you talk about
MS word compatibility. I had a friend over and he nearly croaked at what
textedit was doing to the documents I'm to edit :( I really don't want to have
to get MS word.

Hi Pete,
I think I did talk about MS WOrd a bit, but focused on Pages more. I still
don't know what half the menus do, only because I usually use it to write my
stories, but I explored a few of them on the podcast. I hope you like it. Any
questions, comments and suggestions are welcome.

I noticed this as well. I slowed down the speaking rate of Voice Over a tad,
and that seemed to help the situation.
