I spoke with one of my work colleagues today, he is a mac specialist. I
asked him if there is a read receipt in mac mail, he advised me that no
there isn't however there is no reason why you couldn't setup a rule to send
out an auto response when the email is received within your syste

opening the documents folder, something similar to VO_D for going to the Dock.
Is there such a key? Having to open my hard disk, and then go through all the
folders till I get to documents is really getting on my ne

That's COmmand-Shift-H, actually, and only works from the Finder. That is not a
VoiceOver specific shortcut, and there are none for actually going into folders
where VOiceOVer is concerned..

The easiest way to do this is to press Command shift h to open your home or
user folder and then go to docs from there.
If there is an easier way I'd be happy to know of it my self.

you can type the drive with the folder and the name of the file. For example:
in windows you can do windows run to run and c:/folder name / name of file. I
was just wondering because that is how I get to my files on

When you've made a selection, left arrow alone goes to the beginning of the

IF you want to set a marker at a certain place, just pause the playback and
press the p key. Now, move out to the spot where you want the selection to
end
Is there a special setting to enable command shift d to go to the desktop? It
doesn't work here. Of course, command shift d is the "send again" when in mail,
but I just tried it while in ITunes and while in the doc and it didn't do

"documents" category is checked under Spotlight preferences. I kept wondering
why it didn't find my grocery list, then I opened Spotlight preferences and saw
