You have to use the control-option-shift-space method for those buttons. Also,
if you would like to edit the volume, you have to find the start/stop button at
the top, and then use the tab key twice to get to the volume, that you can
alter with the up/down arrow keys.

Why not use iTunes for this? You will always find the untagged files at the

There is a very nice and highly accessible program for batch tagging and
renaming mp3 files. It's called media rage and it was one of the first apps I
ever discovered for myself on the mac. Unfortunately it comes with a $30 price
tag and I have never been able to justify the cost.

Yes, iTunes can tag multiple files at once. When you select multiple files,
you'll have the fields shown as checkboxes so you can change them. Kind of a

Yup, this is a well known bug and you'll find piles of posts in the
archive about it. Apparently the Mini endlessly polls the monitor port
to find out what is attached. This often turns the machine into a slug
and other bad behavior. On older minis you can just hook up the Apple

Not directly related but I put my most used bookmarks in the bookmarks
bar. The advantage is that each bar entry gets a shortcut assigned based
on order from left to right. So Apple-1 brings up the first bookmark bar
entry, Apple-2 brings up the second entry and so forth. Really fast and

I don't think this is an issue which affects everyone. It's strange, I remember
a time when if an issue appeared, it generally affected everyone using VO.
Something must have changed, despite everyone using the same build of Mac OS X.

Like you, I've worked with iphoto. I can make it do what i need it

wav. I tried everything including making sure ogg was selected in the export
