I use speech profile in growl for the growl-messages. It works perfect but I
wonder if anyone knows how to change the speed of the speech. It doesn't use
the systemsetting or vo setting so it talking very slow.
Any ideas?

Honestly I can't answer that. I've bitten off a large number of projects and my
time is pretty limited. I'd like to do some and I have a couple of ideas, but
they will focus on specific applications. So, all that to say yes, but no firm

Is there a web page or some details about the technique which doesn't
require my joining the mv-dev mailing list to view the content? I tried
using mail-archive.com (which archived macvisionaries in a nice

This is exciting news, indeed. I have been wanting to dive seriously into
programming on the Mac, but I didn't see the point, since it seemed virtually
impossible for an inexperienced programmer, such as myself, to figure out how
to use interface builder.
