Hi Michael,
You can set either DOM or Group navigation under the Web
specifications in VoiceOver Utility. Use VO-F8 to bring up the
VoiceOver Utility menu, press "w" to go to "Web" in the sidebar, then
tab to the web setup options and select the radio button for either

I have always thought that group mode is the way to go, at least
that's what i was taught when first beginning to use VO. Therefore i'm
extremely reluctant to leave group mode, because it's much faster as
someone here said and in Dom mode you have to sift through all the
links and stuff to
I am now more of a DOM mode user, but not because I prefer it, but
rather because I tolerate it. Groups mode does not work well with the
new onslaught of IM clients with dynamic html message viewers like
adium, and since I use those sorts of programs a lot, it is not worth
the trouble of

The ticking sound only works when the VO cursor is focused over the
item which is changing.

The question may now depend on what your doing and personal

Perhaps for some pages group mode is more appropriate however with

You could also use the sendspace wizard to download fles. Create a premium
account, and you shouldn't have to have a max payment plan running to use
the wizard. Maybe I'm wrong. However, the wizard looks completely accessible
with voiceover. All the controls seemed standard. Hope this helps.

On mine the power button is a small round convex little thing right
above the power jack which looks kind of like a usb or firewire port
(just smaller and thinner). I don't know if they moved it for the new
generation.

Hi,
It is just above the power cord. It is a small, resesed button.
The thing accross the front is a Slot-loading CD-rom Drive with an IR
receiver.

Groups mode is a mode which has fallen into disfavor lately because of
what has been mentioned. This bug of ignoring dynamically changing
HTML has been a problem since the days of tiger. It's not just a
matter that DOM mode gives you more information end-of-story. The
reason for that is
Thank you james. I will sertainly take a better look when I get home
tonight. I have not tried to insert any cds yet, but if the cd/dvd
drive is in the frunt and goes clear accross then it is offly large.

Hi.
What are all those strange characters starting with =?
They seem to clutter up posts with mime attached html.
They are generated by Winblow$ and its email programs,
and unix can not decode them.
I would much appreciate a copy of this post
without the strange chars starting with =?

Matt,
I saw an article titled "Nike+, VoiceOver coming to iPhone 3.0?" at
ilounge a couple of days ago, but hesitated to pass this on in view of
some previous drawn out discussions. I'll paste in the article, since
the ilounge pages are not the easiest to navigate:

Hi there. I bought Audio Hijack Pro, and it seems to be a really cool program
for recording streams or whatever. However, I can't figure out the effects tab
to get the application mixer to work. I want to be able to record voiceover and
the internal mic on my macbook into one file, and maybe aud
Success! The ticking is back. I would not have thought of this.
Thanks for helping me to return the ticking and for making me feel
less alone as a download ticking lover. Smile.
