Hello Jessi,
If you find your PM 40 a bit temperamental, try reassigning the
various functions. I set my PM 20 to use a press of the right whiz
wheel to move right along the line, and a press of the left whiz wheel
to move right. That way, its behaviour is much more stable.
Cheers,
Anne

Yesterday I finily order my mac mini. I have a couple of questions.
First. I have heard of people using windows keypoards and was
wondering if there was anything needs to be done to get the mac to
reconize it. If someone could point me in the direction with that I

Hi.
First question: You can enable and disable the Voiceover sounds
including the clicking sound Voiceover makes to indicate the progress
bar is moving in the VOiceover utility. Press VO f8, press the down
arrow to the sound tab and press the tab key to check if the "mute

Hi,
Go to your itunes preferences with command , and select general. At
the beginning of the list you will see the word show, and following is
a list of labels you can check to have appear in your source list.
Just uncheck applications.

Excellent, VO A is just the ticket to read the progress.
I believe the download ticking is a Mac sound. I hear it on my wife's
MacBook and she does not use VoiceOver. I did confirm that my box for
sounds is checked in the VO utility. I'll keep hunting.
Thanks for this.

I've read about the hotspots in the manual, but somehow your
explanation made it clearer to me. I can think of a few areas this
will be helpful. Thank you.

Hi Brett,
One of the things using a hotspot is good for is taking care of the
bug in Preview where you lose your place if you switch applications in
the middle of reading. This is annoying, because VoiceOver's losing
where you were seems to be a bug with the way focus is handled

Hi Louie,
Try using Smultron, ( http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15114 )
Smultron has several options for doing such things, if you for example
set up a search/replace command and include the spaces in the search
box and the tab in the replace box, you should be done.
Hope this helps!
Thanks to those who replied to me.
How do I put a tab in the replace edit field of find and replace?

Hi there
Just figured it out. It depends on the program you are using. Pages
actually has, in its find/replace dialog, a list of characters that in

Hello. For some reason, I can't reply to messages in Mail. I hit

Hi there, according to apple insider an article was posted about the
proposed changes in 10.57 that were to attempt to address bluetooth
support.
The success or lack there of is still up in the air, however the
article had stated that this was being worked on.
