Hello,
I believe that the command E is the correct keyboard combination. Also, you can
eject discs from the terminal app with the eject command. On occasion, this
command will not work. In that case you need to use a paper clip in the small
hole adjacent to the CD Drive.

If so, try selecting it and press command plus E.
If not, press command plus shift plus C, then select the CD Drive and press
command plus E.
Is there not a eject button on the CD Drive?

Hi,
is there a keystroke that will open the cd door say from the finder?
Think older editions of the operating system, leopard for example, or
snow leopard.
Have a cd stuck and cannot discover how to open the door.
Thanks,
Karen
Turning off caption [panels did the trick. Thanks everyone.

There are three tabs in the Visuals category. You need to select the "Panels &

have to turn off the VoiceOver cursor from the Cursor tab as well.

Hello Stacy,
In VoiceOver Utility, under Speech, set all the categories of voice to Default.
You can then change the voice on the fly using VO-Cmd-Down Arrow. I do this all
the time to switch between English and French.

Hello,
How do I set all of my VoiceOver voices to the same voice?
I’m currently using Tom as the default but think I might like to try something
different.
I’m running El Capatan.

Hi there
It sounds like that speech just got turned off somehow, still leaving voiceover
