Use the Voiceover speech rotor which has been around for quite some
time. Make a note of it.
VO-Cmd-Shift-Right or Left arrow.

Running Sonoma, Alex speaks a little slower than he used to. I’d like to speed
him up a little. speaking rate isn’t in my quicknav rotor. I went to vo utility
and located “speech”. after that I can’t get. anything to happen. how do I open
