Seems like it’s very easy to get stranded in those areas and tabbing does not
get me back to the web content page. Is there a magic keystroke in Voiceover to
get me back to the web content when I fall into that sticky tar-pit?

A much quicker way to switch tabs where you don't have to stop interacting or
anything is to hit control tab and control shift tab to cycle through the tabs
in a reverse order.

As an aside, you can find many key combinations by poking around in the

Hi,
tabs are multiple webpages contained in one window. What you are referring to
is multiple windows opened, each containing a webpage. Open up safari and look
in the file menu. You will see options for opening a new window, and opening a
new tab.

I wish to switch from one tab to another in Safari. I thought the Option + tab

Could somebody be kind enough to remind me how to do this?

To add to this thread, you can also open the current link to a new tab by
pressing Command-Return. I like doing this particularly from a list of search
results and then I can close the tab with Command-W and be placed back to the
link I was originally on.

Or if there is a command to open a list of all commands.
