yes! that is what often happens to me. What I usually do is to command tab
out of mail or wherever I am trying to use the spell check and command tab back
that usually solves the issue.
Of course the best is to go to window chooser and close the alert , but I just
command tab quick and that
I have noticed that if you have an alert on the screen, this can interfere with
using VO-shift-m to bring up the context menu. Generally I have no problems
using the command-semicolon method for checking spelling, but again if there is
an alert on the screen that seems to cause a problem.

I don't use this method to spell check so have not noticed a problem. My I
suggest when this issue does occur for you press command shift semicolon to
bring up the spell check window instead of checking spelling in the document
itself?

Hi all,
Sometimes I am finished writing a mail message and press command coma to go to
first misspelled word. VO says the highlighted word but pressing vo shift m
does not do anything. Cannot always reproduse so do not know what causes this
intermitent behavior.
Anyone else noticed this?
