Hello,
I am running the latest IOS on my iPhone 5S. I read the abridged form of this
forum which I receive as a daily Email. this form starts with a list of topics
with each topic in the list containing a same page link to a list of
abbreviated Emails posted on that topic.
I try to double tap
2-finger swipe down to read all, it
registers the gesture as the three finger swipe left to go back which is not
what I want to do. I only have two fingers on the iPhone, not three.

Hey Alex. Will do. Apple Accessibility will hear about this. Also, I did that
stuff you said to do with the mouse and still no result.

Hi Alex. When you use Digest mode for this list, the threads are organized as
same page links at the top. On Windows or using Google Chrome, when you click
on those same page links, it jumps you to that thread so that you could read
it. Also, the iPhone does this too. It doesn't sound
I'm sure they are the proper ways to open links. Same-page links are not
something I get in emails, so it is possible that VO is not jumping to the
linked locations, or that the email itself simply does not have its links set
up correctly.

Hi Georgina and Alex. I tried to do what both of you said and still nothing.
Are you sure these are the proper ways to open same page links in an email?

Hi all. Is there a way with Voiceover to click on same page links like you can
with Windows and its screen readers? For example, for those of you that are in
digest mode like I am, You'll see links at the top with all of the threads in
the email, and when you click on them in Windows,
Hello Teresa,
The way VoiceOver handles same page links has evolved over time, so I just
tested it using Wikipedia. I have Web navigation set to Groups mode, I don't
know how this works in DOM mode, I haven't tried it.
Find the link you want, it will say the name of the link follo
Is there a way to jump to a same-page link? I can't seem to use those at
present with the spacebar or return keys.
Thanks,
Teresa
