Hi,
I'd check the drivers for your burner. The stock DVD Player app on your Mac
should work just fine. The Apple USB Super Drive often works better and is
needed to boot from DVDs, but you should be able to play them just fine with a
third party device.

Just to double check: you did launch a title before navigating using the menu?
You presumably already know that you can't navigate to a title until you're
past the root and title menus, so slap enter a couple of times first and try
again.

Nothing seems to work, this is driving me mad.
I would download the entire TV series from Itunes, but only season 5 is
available.
This is just so strange.

Hi,
The entire Trackpad is also the button. Simply press firmly on the Trackpad
and you'll feel a kind of click as it goes down and it click again as it comes
back up. On older Mac laptops and most PCs there was a separate button(s) for
mouse actions, the Mac has made it a part of the actual
What is and where is the trackpad button? I have the DVD out now and I am
afraid to put it back it in. Tell me what you mean by trackpad button please.

Hi,
If you can Shutdown your Mac, do so. Then when you start it up again, hold
down the trackpad button while the startup chime is sounding. Hold it down
until the DVD ejects, usually it ends up taking about 5 seconds. If it does
not eject in a reasonable amount of time, release the mouse/tr

Hi Brett:
Did you have a problem with all CD.'s or ones that were burned with something
other than ITunes? Just curious as to whether to take mine in or not? I've
got some CD's that were copied from old record albums I have.

I experienced the same symptoms with my Mini last week. I took it to the Apple
Store and they determined the optical drive was bad and replaced it.

HI:
I've got a Mini that has a problem with some CD.'s too, particularly ones that
have been burned without using ITunes. I don't know if they are in a strange
format or what. My drive makes a horrible noise and then the action you
describe. It's hard to get the disk out. It might spit it o
