I'm really not sure how Radium managed it, but you do get VoiceOver access to
the menu that otherwise requires clicking their icon on the status menu bar.
You also don't need to used TrackPad Commander to navigate if you prefer to use

I was not familiar with Radium, but from your description, I am impressed. The
fact that they managed to make that fix for VO users to access the status bar
