Dear List has anybody had success with opera browser with voice over on
mavericks? I downloaded it to try out the ap store, but it makes weird
clicking noises and doesn't seem to work that well. I am a novice so it
would be good to no whether it is supposed to work or not, so I can delete
If voiceover restarted itself, it means it crashed, it works with opera, but as
you said, it's kind of buggy.

I wish I was a magnifier user. I'm totally dependent on my ears and fingers
these days. in fact, this will be the first new years even that I am total for.

I just tried it to be sure. It works, but as I said, it's slow. Opera will
come up as busy, and VoiceOver may restart itself, but it works. I'm
primarily a magnifier user, and could see the VoiceOver cursor move - though
audio feedback was at a lag.

I interacted with the web space, keep in mind this is with Opera 11, and it

I'm not sure if anyone has tried the Opera browser with the Mac and
VoiceOver? Well I just downloaded Opera 11. It works, but there's a lag so
great between key strokes and responses you could take a big slug of coffee
in between (not that I'd recommend it LOL). Anyone having simi
I guess that clears things up. Surprising since Opera for the Mac is one
of the only other (non-webkit) browsers I know of that is accessible.

Good morning,
I askd about Opera Mini accessibility on Twitter a few weeks ago and Bruce
Lawson (@BruceL) the Opera Standards guy told me that this version would not be
accessible with VO. I am not sure if there are plans for accessibility in the
future.

Nice to find another accessible web browser since Firefox is still
working on it. First thing I tried was to jump between headers as this
is an easy way to get to the main story on a news page. I tried this on
news.aol.com and after about 5 header jumps I found the first story. On
Opera all it

Hi everyone,
