When the newer iMovie V10 came out, they were good enough to leave the older
more functional V9 intact and available in a separate folder. I use iMovie V9
all the time and will need it to be available under yosemite. It seems to be
just an app that I could copy to a back up and then install in

unwanted parts, I first use MPG stream clip. A very simple app to edit video,
and then, I transfer the edited clips to iMovie. There, I create my video, add
