playlist or playlists to sync with the iPhone is the best solution. Ray is

The best solution here is to create a playlist for your iPhone, and have
iTunes sync selected playlists, rather than the entire library.
This is actually what you want to do, just using different terms.
You need not create a new iTunes library, just add songs and artists to a
playlist, then syn
Only 5 GB. No where near enough: and, I don't see the sense in paying for
more especially when the value seems questionable to me.
