Hi, In theory, this may work. Some issues that may arise for you:
1. You'll need to have duplicates of your music that is in both Libraries. This will ensure that music is not re-organized when moving between iTunes Libraries. There are settings that are supposed to stop this re-organization but some folks don't trust their accuracy. 2. You'll need to make sure to tell iTunes NOT to open automatically when your iPhone is plugged into the computer just in case the wrong Library is active when it is plugged in. I believe that the easier method, though, would be to simply put all the songs you wish on your iPhone into one or more Playlists. Then tell iTunes to only sync those Playlists. You'd be able to easily move things in and out of those specific Playlists without needing to check and uncheck individual songs. When the iPhone was synced, any changes you've made to the Playlist or Playlists will be automatically made on the iPhone as well. This works great for me and it ensures that I have only what I wish to hear on my iPhone at any given time. Now, with iTunes Match on top of that, I can change those Playlists around on my iPhone as well and they change around on my Macs. Later...
