Not necessarily. In newer devices especially, ones with bluetooth 4.0,
there's a "low energy" mode available that lets two devices stay connected
while using next to no power, enoug
Hello.
You may wish to try having a look at the Alva BC640 with its feature
pack. The feature pack appears to the phone as a standard keyboard. It
is possible that this keyboard will allow you to wake the iPhone up. I
am not sure whether this is the case, but it is more possible in
theory than with

Hi.
Unfortunately it is not possible to wake an IPHone up with a braille display
at the moment. I also whish it would be possible to turn on the brailledisplay

It would not be a security risk. For a keyboard or any device to wake up an iOS
device, the two must be paired first. so, if you have not explicitly paired a
display with an iOS device, that display could not wake it up, just as, right
now, iOS devices do not take commands from random displays.
a wireless keyboard can do it, with pressing the arrow keys.

Hi,
I don't see why not. i have a logitec bluetooth keyboard for my ipad, and it
wakes up my ipad with me pressing any key on the keyboard. Same should goes
with the braille display.
It shouldn't be a security issue at all. I have different braille displays pair

As much as this feature might have added convenience, I'd expect that there may
be a security risk. Certainly you'd have to adjust the settings so that the
phone wouldn't pair with random nearby Braille displays. I'm not even sure that
anything will wake a phone up, except pressing a button on t

Dear all,
Anyone here has a braille display that is able to wake up the iphone?
I would very much like to place my iPhone in a bag while just operating it
with a Braille Display. Unfortunately, I have not come across one braille
display that has a key to wake up the iphone or even lock the
