On #4, you can set the virtual drive quite large as it will only expand
to what it actually needs. I typically set it to 40GB. Generally the
virtual disk will expand as needed but won't shrink back down when you
delete stuff. For that you'll want to run the VMWare tools and get it to

Do a google search for a key mapping utility called sharp keys.
This should work well for you.

I am using fusion on my macBook air and i want to use the laptop layout with

HI. once these settings are set, how do you then tell the mac that you want a
usb keyboard only to work in the virtual environment? this could be a possible
work around and it would mean i wouldn't have to remap keys as the usb keyboard
i have has an insert key.
interesting.

Hi,
If anyone wants to reach me off line that is fine. Another tip related to
keyboard remapping.
There is a program for the Mac that allows you to remap your keys. I have
played with this and it gives you more flexibility on assigning the right
options or command keys. Since these keys are

Just my thoughts everyone.
Why not get a Jaws Dongle rather than using your ILM counts? Just that if you
lose your virtual machine, then you will not lose your activation. I at
present run jaws in 40 minute mode but am planning to get another SMA with
Dongle in the near future.
