You can only play recordings directly from the DVR. By no other means can you
do so.

Unfortunately, my ISP is providing bad service. I might have to switch to
Uverse. I'd have to give up my Tivo. Is there a way with Uverse to set
recordings using the web with either iPad, phone, Mac, etc. Transfer them to
the Pc or Mac wirelessly, and then erase the recordings from the DVr
