Hello Krister,
In VoiceOver Utility, go to Verbosity and select the Text tab. In there, you'll
find "When encountering a misspelled word:". You can select Play Tone in the
popup menu to the right.

I have that set. The reason I haven't heard misspelled words when typing is
probably because I have the key echo set to "none". I'm more interested in
measuring my typing speed, though. If that's possible, that'd be great.
