I just reported the problem, and I was able to include a screen shot, so hopefully they might be able to see what we’re missing. Blessings, Brian > On Oct 28, 2016, at 2:54 PM, Scott Granados wrote: > > +1, I’ll file a report now. > >> On Oct 28, 2016, at 2:17 PM, Andrew Lamanche >

I just did a clean install of Sierra yesterday on my Mac Mini, and lo and behold, now I have the same problem. I've got two login accounts, and it's happening on both of them. Blessings, Brian > On Oct 27, 2016, at 2:59 PM, Andrew Lamanche wrote: > > Hm! I only have one user too. I am exc

I have had this happen. It does not happen every time. I do not have my computer lock upon sleeping, so it has only been 1 or two times when restarting. Unfortunately because it has not been often I can’t point to a particular condition that existed at the time. I would think though that a r

Hi, I have, probably, six users on my MBP and I'm not experiencing this. I have had it happen to me on occasion on numerous iMacs at work in Yosemite, El Capitan and Sierra. What I've found in those cases, is that the iMac screen has gone to sleep, not the iMac itself, just the display as I'v

I have not noticed this behavior. Mine boots almost instantly and prompts me for my password. I have only my single user defined, not sure if that makes a difference. > On Oct 27, 2016, at 2:37 PM, Andrew Lamanche wrote: > > I've reported this repeatedly to Apple during the testing period. >

Strange behaviour when loging-in in OS Sierra

2016-10-27 Thread Andrew Lamanche
I've reported this repeatedly to Apple during the testing period. I have installed latest OS Sierra on my May 2014 Macbook Pro. Whenever I shut down my computer and then boot it again, I can't immediately start the log-in process because something prevents VO focusing on the right fields where
