Hi, Usually, anything purchased from iTunes should read as "Purchased AAC Audio File". A plain old AAC Audio File is one that iTunes may have converted itself when importing a CD or other media into iTunes. Now, that's a "usually", so, if it's misbehaving, then I'd have to play with it more.

No to the first question. Yes I want to sync all of my music. I did use cmd-j and did not see a "kind" option. I had already deleted those digital booklets and the song count remained the same. I think I tried the "iCloud status" but will try that again in a while. From E.T.'s Keyboard.
