search on Apple VPS, you'll notice some specific results. They seem to be
quite robust systems, but I'm not sure of their usability from an accessibility

I've never tried it with a VPS, but essentially, the answer is "No", with some
conditions. The Mac OS does not pass through the audio from the remote device,
thus you're unable to know what is happening on the remote machine. Yes, ARD

Thanks and yeah as I expectd.
The best remote desktop access I’ve found for the mac is to use remote desktp
or VNC from one mac to another and then start up vo on the target machinen and
then vo seems to work fine through the remote connection or has done for me so
far.

I use RDP remote desktop all the time between work machines and work / home
etc. and it's fine, both vista and xp as well as server 2008.
it's all pretty easy to work with, and jaws can be both statted and stopped
remotely so nothings really a problem.
