Well just when i send an S.O.S to the list, something clicks in my head and i

which i didn't, only through system preferences and not directly through mail.
Incidentally it also resolved a longstanding issue wit

Hi,
In MM preferences, advanced options, you can unregister your Macs, and then
reset sync data. Then register your Macs again.

Hi All,
has anyone an idea how to delete the data of my Macs on my mobile me account?
There are some issues with synching and I want to start completely new.

Hi John,
Thanks for the clock part. I know they sync at certain times and clocks being 6
hours away from each other, this might have caused it too.

Hi,
Try checking the checkbox to automatically keep the most recent version of

Kevin,
Thanks so much. There are so many layers to certain items. I don't think I
would have thought to interact with the tool bar if you hadn't sent me in that
direction. I unchecked Idisk so that pesky mobile me message should be gone.
Thanks again,

HI Linda,
You need to be under the sidebar tab in the toolbar. You'll probably want to
keep hard disks checked under the General tab as this is what allows Macintosh
HD to show up on your desktop.

Hi Nancy,
I got rid of that by going into Preferences under the finder menu and

If you're talking about iDisk, you can disable looking for iDisks in Finder
Preferences. Go to the fFinder and press Command-comma.

Yeah, it's a sixty day trial. However, you will need to enter credit card
information and, when the trial is up, Mobile Me will automatically charge you
the price for a full subscription. Of course, you will be notified when the
trial is about to expire.
