Yup. Same here. Works lovely in iOS but OS X iBooks is a useless waste of disk space. Someone said it could be internet issues but that's not the case here since speed test shows I'm actually getting slightly more throughput than advertised by the ISP. So I think they've just broken something.

Hi all, I have installed the Ibooks app on my touch. I'm getting the impression that to purchase or just get free books, I have to do that from within the app; there is a 'store" button. I was hoping I could shop on my Mac and synch up with the Touch, but I'm not seeing any sort of ibooks entry
