Thanks, Esther. I am using the Apple bluetooth keyboard on an IOS device, not a
Mac. I'm too connected to num pad commander to give that up on a Mac without a
fight. I was looking for single letter forward delete. But it is
helpful to know the command for doing a word or more as well.

Hi Mary,
If you are using the Apple WIreless Keyboard with the Mac, then the commands
for editing changes are just the same as a Mac laptop user would make, and you
can verify this by turning on keyboard help mode (VO-K), pressing the key
combinations, and listening to what VoiceOver announces
Hi Mary -- Try pressing the Fn key + Backspace to perform a forward delete.
The Fn key is the very bottom left key on the Apple BT keyboard.
