Hi,
This is true
Hi there
I had this happen to me on an iPhone, and I think it was iOS 7. When it
happened to me, the only way I could get speech back was to have my cited
husband go into music, and turn the volume up while in the music application.

Hi,
This is true, but VoiceOver was never launched on this iPad to my knowledge.
I wasn't physically at the location to try the 3 finger jester, will be
there on Saturday.
We used Siri to toggle VoiceOver.
Thanks,
Chris

Keep in mind that speech can be muted even though VoiceOver may be active.
I guess this is what you are implying, but I know that on the iPhone a
specific gesture can mute speech despite the presence of VoiceOver. I would
imagine other iDevices would have the same gesture.
