Hi Wendy and Others,
I posted this information on subscribing to Sendero's GPS discussion list
to the viphone list some minutes before your request. Here's the post:

There have been some questions about how to subscribe to the gps-talk

I've joined the Sendero List. These questions are discussed and a lot more if
you want to join.

You do a search, but don't type anything. To limit the category, use the
"choose categories" button, at least I think that's what it is, on the POI
screen.

Hi there
How do you search for points of interest? That is, I can't figure out how to
get a listing under a category. When I did a search, I did it by the name of
the place, but if you don't know the name of a given place, how do you get a

I have not, but here's how the Sendero app works if you want to get from where
you are to somewhere else.
1. Open the app and tap "routes" or "POIs".
2. If you selected "routes", you can enter an address, do a POI search, choose
"route to home", or select from the last couple routes you have crea
Hey Alex,
Have you used Blind Square also? Would love to hear how Seeing Eye compares to
it, if you have any thoughts. I love the developer for Blind Square as he is
constantly working on improving the app. My only gripe with Blind Square is the

I'll leave it on-list in case anyone else wants to join to discuss the app, as
it is tangentially related to Macs.
To join Sendero's discussion list, for all things Sendero-related, send an
email to:
gps-talkusers-requ...@freelists.org
with "subscribe" (no quotes) in the subject line.

If there is an e-mail list for it, could you send me details off list? I use to
have their GEO product and therefore I know that Sendero do good GPS products.
I also use to Beta test their GEO devices so I know it should be easy.

I beta tested the app. It is really nice and easy to use, particularly if you
have a 4S or better since you can use dictation in searches or address inputs.
The lack of a trial is actually an Apple thing - they don't let apps that use
subscription-based payment systems offer free trials. Sender
