after a while after boot. It’s been a while since I set mine up and the 4th
gen is a bit different.

In settings/general/accessibility on latest gen I think, somewhere obscure on
older model.

Hi Scott. No, that's incorrect. You need to press the play pause button at the
bottom right of the remote three times quickly for a voiceover to come up
speaking.
