Hope you're well. I remember having this conversation with you earlier this
year. Since then, I've figured out a work around to open Bookshare files in
Mavericks. After you download the daisy file from Bookshare, open up the folder
you downloaded and search for the file with the

That is so interesting. I wonder if I download the books from my mountain lion
machine and transfer them onto my Mavericks machine if they'll work. All the
books that work now on my Mavericks machine were downloaded a couple years ago
off of a snow leopard machine. If my idea doesn't work,
I've had this problem with books I downloaded prior to upgrading to Mavericks
-- then reinstalled Mountain Lion and placed my files back on my MacBook, all
books downloaded prior to the upgrade opened Empty. Books I downloaded after
are opening fine.
