I've had this problem with books I downloaded prior to upgrading to Mavericks -- then reinstalled Mountain Lion and placed my files back on my MacBook, all books downloaded prior to the upgrade opened Empty. Books I downloaded after are opening fine. On Mar 18, 2014, at 12:20 PM, Ibraheem F
