No, the Amazon Keyboard replicates the Apple keyboard accept for the control and option keys work as VO although they do not speak and nor does the command or option keys unless you are in the practice area, where you practice your gestures. I found out by accident that the command and option k

I should clarify that the Apple keyboard does have a switch but there is no way to tell if it's currently on or off as it is just a toggle pushbutton. So, if the keyboard isn't working you push it and wait a few seconds to find out if it pairs up, otherwise you just turned it off :) That said,
