I should clarify that the Apple keyboard does have a switch but there is
no way to tell if it's currently on or off as it is just a toggle
pushbutton. So, if the keyboard isn't working you push it and wait a few
seconds to find out if it pairs up, otherwise you just turned it off :)
That said, I usually leave mine on all the time and it goes a month or
two on a set of batteries.
I've used PC keyboards on the Mac before and had problems with Command
and Option being reversed. Is this not the case on the Amazon keyboard?

It's just a little smaller, if I put it on my Apple keyboard it's a

where as the Apple keyboard does not.
Now, I can pair my Apple keyboard to my I Mac and have a dedicated
keyboard to use with my I phone when I'm not using my braille display
at home. Although I can use both at the same time. I don't know if
you know but if you have your Apple keyboard connected to your phone,
you can use another bluetooth keyboard at the same time. I wonder why
that is.

I will have a look at Applevis but I got it working and at last I
find a keyboard where the Command and Option keys and VO keys work.

they covered all this but can't quite remember.

Hello.
I received today my Amazon Basics keyboard and am unable to pair
it. However, if someone has one of these, I'd like to know how
the batteries go in, I put them with the two pointy things two
the left. It doesn't matter how I slide the switch to the left
or right, it's not showing up in the bluetooth settings. I'd
like to know if the pairing button is next to the slider switch
and whether or not I have the batteries in correctly, how to pair
it and what way should I slide the switch please?
Thanks in advance.
Kawal.
