Running 18.1.1, I had no trouble moving a couple apps into folders

Until Apple resolves this issue, the only workaround I am aware of involves
vision, and the old double tap and hold-drag and drop method.
Sorry I don't have a better answer.

I, too, will perform such reboots. In this case, it did not solve

Hi,
If swiping up to edit and double tapping on that doesn't allow you to then
swipe up or down to drag, delete, etc, then I recommend rebooting your iPad. I
have found over the ÿears that rebooting resolves a whole host of issues when a
device is not behaving as expected.

It’s still the same. Just swipe up until you get to drag and double tap.

Hi y'all
Hi y'all
I finally discovered another way of rearranging my apps Lee's days. I used to
use folders, but now I just tell my iPhone to reset my home screen. This has
the effect of alphabetizing my apps starting with page 2. I discovered I like
that a lot better than me moving things around

Hi,
The answer is yes and no. I think that there's an issue with the placement of
apps and their ability to be moved with VO. At least for me, items in the
fifth row don't like to be moved with the VO gestures. Try the same gesture in
the fourth row and it works. My work around so far is to

YOu should be able to move them from page to page as you do with the IPhone.
I'm not sure of the solution for you but I've been able to manage it fine. I'll
grab my IPad later this morning and see if anything has changed on it that
won't allow me to move apps.
Good luck,

Hi Mary:
One more thought: Since the doc on page one is expandable, you may not have to
move something out of that page's doc to make room. But, I have to check that
idea further.

I don't know if this will be helpful or not. But, I've found it impossible to
mmove apps to differing pages in the same manner as on the iPhone. What you
can do, however, is move the app into the dock. Go to whichever yage you want
it on,and move it into the regular grid.

Hi Mary,
The default apps that come with the iPad show up on the first page, and I think
that if you buy new apps they may show up on the second page with iOS 4.2 (on

apps onto the first page of my iPad. With the iP
