I just downloaded it out of curiosity.
I'm able to hear things spoken in the name table, but it sounds like
gibberish. However, when I select something I can hear names of
packages in the other table. Which update are you running? update
selected, or update all?

ports menu, and clicking update. I did this, because I cannot see
anything in the tables or list views when I do not run this command.

It sounds like Porticus is running the command "port upgrade outdated"
when it is started. There used to be a bug in Macports where if you
ran that command and nothing was out of date, it would give that
message. I thought that it had been fixed though.
