Ok, I've sent them a bug report as well. This is a great pity because I used to
find that hotspots would speed my work in some circumstances quite
significantly, especially as they worked even if I was in another application.

Yes, thank you. That explains a lot I'll have to actually use these and report
the bugs I find to Apple. It's nice that they have these features but sometimes
it's not always clear what they're useful for. But I'll definitely play with
these and see what comes of this.

Hotspots are very useful if you have to move from place to place in a webpage,
or if you need to do one thing in one application and then have to go to
another application and back. So you set a hotspot so that you can jump
immediately to where you were before or close to it before you lef
