Yes and no. The yes is that you can, according to their support people, get a
sighted person to rename the fields once you have told the program to find the
form fields. This is because they are numbered and you can’t tell what you have
landed on if the author did not make the pdf file accessibl
The app store software is the same as far as I know. However, I have noticed
that the updates tend to be on their web site sooner than in the app store. You
do want 7.1 if you are getting it and you want to use it for forms.

is PDFPen pro 7.1 on the app store? I only saw version 7.02. If not, is the
app store and web site software the same?

So, does the PDF file need to be a fill out form or can it be a plain PDF file?
Is it accessible with both? In otherwords, would I be able to fill out a pdf
that doesn’t have fill boxes?
Thanx,

Hey everyone, I wanted to make a few points.
First of all, Adobe claims that it is about to come out with the first ever
mac app that will give voice over users full access to tagged pdfs. You can
read more about it at the following link.

I don't really know because I never had the version that was not the pro
version. You may want to contact the developer and find out.

I will be most interested to see what you may discover about PDF pen and table
reading. PDFs are one of the things I still do on windows if it involves
anything other than strict reading of the text. For that, VoiceStream is good.

Hello Mary
Maybe I am wrong, but Adobe doesn't seem to be very committed in getting this
done for us. At least the PDF pen pro people are willing to do it. That says a
lot.
When I get a chance, I will take one of my numbers files and convert them to a
table or something. But I can see if it work
Hi Mary,
Reading tables in a pdf file is a big deal for me as well. I don’t know of a
solution on the Mac as yet. Adobe reader on Windows with NVDA does a
reasonably good job with this. An accessible version of Adobe on the mac would
be quite helpful.
The other approach I’ve thought of is to
How about tables? Any progress on reading tables in an intelligible manner?

As far as I know, that is true. I will tell you that it works faster but it
doesn't windows. It calls up that file almost immediately and doesn't take
forever while it tags the thing or whatever it doesn't windows. Also, if you
get the pro version, one of the things you can do is to convert your
