I was checking out better quality ones at Sweetwater. If you are on
Target and do the rotor then arrow right to get to the form controls

get a list. On that page pull up the list of links and type in "turn"

Target has USB turntables? Ooo! Cool! I love vintage stuff like that! Plus,
I have a few records I'd love to convert to mp3. Wonder how much these are
going for, generally speaking? Do you have to get them in a store, or can you
get them online, or both?
I'd go look at their web site, but
I was surprised to find Target carries about 50 different record
players. What's up with that? You can get a USB record player for about
$80 which comes in its own suitcase. Time to get all that vinyl into
iTunes before it wears away.

Scott,
Reading your note caused me to chuckle. I am in my late twenties and
still have a vinyl player, tape player, and CD player, all attached to
an old amp. When I picked up my new laptop I was shocked to find no CD
drive in it.
To say the least I have not made the full leap yet.

music Spotify has, but it's still a pretty good amount. I am using both Tidal
and Spotify. Tidal pays twice as much money per track than to a
Vaughn, I’m with you I find this an interesting topic and to relate it to the

Hi Scott,
I am interested in hearing what other's see as I am a musician, too.
Thank you for your insight. I heard what I mentioned on a music
program through NPR. However, it is also true that one person's expert
opinion is just one and there are a variety of them out there.

Vaughn, I’m not sure this is true. While it’s probably true that the artist
makes less they also get to keep more of the take per sale than they would have
with a label. Remember, Apple for example if memory servers gives you 70 cents
on the dollar where you might only get 10 or 20 with a regu
All I know is that musicians are not making as much money as they did
when selling albums and records in stores. This is because people ca
now buy singles instead of the entire set.
I still prefer to buy physical records because I know it will fund the
musicians more.

I don’t know, I know the service JZ launched, the name escapes me right now,
used lossless compression and had a high end audio mode. This streaming stuff
is cool but we’re losing 7/8ths of the music to lossy compression.
