A couple of things.
You don't absolutely need the DropBox "app" - what the download does is
simply create a folder in the Finder and a DropBox folder listing in the
left pane of every Finder window. It also creates an icon in your menu bar
(it looks kind of like an open box with four flaps) tha

Your on the Dropbox web site to access your account.
You need to find the download Dropbox link and choose mac and download the app
and install to your mac then you can do the log in and etc.
