Well I thought the AAC stuff was gone but when I used the header
trick I realized it had not defaulted to the Kind view. But all the
songs are present and synced to the iDevices. I've been using the header
trick to do some more work and quite easily too.

Hi Tim,
Just wanted to say thank you again for your great assistance. It was
a learning experience and well worth the aggravation I suffered to
accomplish this. If you were sitting next to me, what more I could
learn. Heh.

Then I unhid the album on the Mac. The AAC label is gone and all
looks good now on Mac and iDevices. Time for lunch and a book. :)

Hi Anders,
Maybe use the Keyboard Practice feature to determine which key combination is
used on the Swedish keyboard. When in Keyboard Practice mode, pressing VO
along with keys should announce the VO function for that combination.
Alternatively, press VO-h, go down to Commands Help, then ri
Hi,
Since they are purchased content, you should be able to easily delete then
re-download the album without losing anything. Worth a try anyway. If you're
at all worried about losing things, you can copy the existing album to the
Desktop temporarily.

Hi!
I wonder how to do this on the Swedish keyboard as backslash isn’t the same as
on the Us English.
I might change this but how?

Tim,
I may look for those 3 when I am bored. (smiles) One thing I found
was that since it seems purchased music is not syncing, the changes I

Hi,
Usually, anything purchased from iTunes should read as "Purchased AAC Audio
File". A plain old AAC Audio File is one that iTunes may have converted itself
when importing a CD or other media into iTunes. Now, that's a "usually", so,
if it's misbehaving, then I'd have to play with it more.
Ok what throws me off track is two things. One, the items with the
AAC kind. Don't understand this as its 20 out of 86 songs purchased from
the iTunes store.
Two, apparently I don't need to sync the purchased music because its
already on my devices.
So the final count matches, just
Hi,
The Purchased AAC Audio files are, of course, those that you purchased from the
iTunes Store. If it says MPEG Audio File, then it is likely an mp3. If it
says AAC Audio File, then it is an Apple AAC file.
Regarding the checked items thing, in the Summary pane, if the item is checked

I'm learning. :) I used cmd-j again and took my time looking at the
dialog and found the "kind" option. While there, I unchecked a couple
other useless items.
Here is what "kind" got me. "Purchased AAC audio file". But this is
not on all of the songs, less than half.
Still don't un
No to the first question. Yes I want to sync all of my music.
I did use cmd-j and did not see a "kind" option. I had already
deleted those digital booklets and the song count remained the same. I
think I tried the "iCloud status" but will try that again in a while.

HI ET,
Just making sure that I've got your configuration correct.

Tim, the mystery deepens. There was no "kind" option so I chose the
checked option to see what that might turn up. Found some of the songs
from two of the new albums that were unchecked. They did not stay
checked. So I turned syncing off. All the music left my phone...except
the songs from a
Hi,
In iTunes on your Mac, make sure that the Music table is in List view, then
interact with the table and press VO-shift-back slash. This will put VO into
the Header info for the columns. Either sort it by "Kind" or by iCloud status
if that is a column. You can press cmd-j to bring up the
