I’ll take the network question part of this. For best performance you’d use a
wire. Wireless is good but wired is still your fastest option. You can nail
that wired connection to gigabit and get quite a bit of throughput. Wireless
will work but expect the wire to be as much as twice as fast
A few pointers.
You can do this as long as both machines are on the same wifi network.
1. You will need to have Windows 7 setup so that you have a login password.
2. You will need to have your drives /folders permission on Windows to
