Well, I'm thinking of the docuscan from Serotek. If that's the one you're
talking about, it is not on the iPad. It is on the Pc and the Mac.

DocuScan is working normally for me again. Whatever the problem was, it seems
to have fixed itself.
Shame that it doesn't support German.

Hi,
Yes, Docuscan is definitely alive. Please try scanning again; there may have
been a problem with the server earlier.

Docuscan plus is alive and well, but doesn't the demo time out after a certain
number of days? So unless you just got your demo, it may well be at its end and
timed out.

Hi Esther,
thanks for the info. Yes, I haven't followed Anne's post to DocuScan Plus.
I'm not aware of Prismo as an app for the Mac. What about the accessibility of
the new version? Can you say something about that? Is it already out?
I'm using Exact Scan Pro but I'd like to have an easy and in
Hi Jürgen,
This isn't Nic, but DocuScan Plus only works in English. They are
developing support for Spanish, but that isn't available yet. You must not
have noticed that every time Anne Robertson posts replies on this subject
that she always points out that DocuScan Plus doesn't support any l
Hi Nic,
thanks for your answer. I'm calmed down by your message. My thought was it
could be something on my Mac. :-)
So, the web page seems to work normally. But of course it could be coursed by
something in the background. I'll wait till monday.
What I actually wanted to try out was to see weth
Hi Jürgen,
I've used DocuScan for a while. I've used it fairly recently and it worked
fine. I just used it now in response to what you've said and I got the exact
same result as you. I doubt DoscuScan is completely dead, but perhaps they're
having server issues or something. Have you checked th
Yes it is still available from the app store. You do need to have an
internet connection if you are running it in Snow Leopard both for
recognition and for the original save. However, once you have save the
document to the cloud you can go to document management and save it to your

Hi Dennise,
I use Docuscan Plus all the time and it works great. I am using the Hovercam,
but have a Canoscan lide 90 which I bought from Serotek several years ago.
After you scan a document, you must first save it in the cloud then reopen it
and then save to your hard drive. You can then er
Yes, it's still available in the App store. I have found it to be a great
program worth the money. Virtually everything I've thrown at it has been read
quite well. Serotek did a nice job. It's simple to use, but very effective.

Yes I do have a Hovercam. At the moment, I am having trouble with the focus
knob which Serotek is trying to help me resolve. The nice thing about the
camera is that it lets you read larger pieces of paper such as a book.

I'm using a scanner ... the HP OfficeJet 6500. I'm not sure whether I'd
purchase the Hover Scan or not. Do you have one?

Hello:
I would guess that you have already chosen the app from the app store. Check
in your applications folder by going to the finder and using the key
combination of command/shift/A and then look for Docuscan Plus. hth

I am not seeing that problem. But, I am curious as to whether a document
