Either Alex will be on the iPhone 5 or not. Yet another example of where a

I kind of like her, I think I may try her over Daniel, sense I kind of like his

Ditto. Daniel sounds absolutely fine with me under the latest iOS but
can't help but excite the arrival of Alex in iOS 8. I use Alex for
VoiceOver under Os X and enhanced quality Daniel for the system voice.

I'm absolutely fine and dandy with Daniel on iOS, having become used to it; I
hate it on OS X. I have no idea why this is, but think it might have something
to do with the speakers; on smaller speakers with less range, the Ss are
clearer to understand, whereas on my desktop speakers they are not
It all seems to be an in-house implimentation, but uses vocalizer as its base
engine, just with Apple's home-made voices.

I never upgrade my phone, I just buy the phone out right and put the same

I agree. I have to use the Irish voice on IOS for the same reasons but will
switch to Alex if he sounds anything like. I don't know anybody who likes
Daniel on any platform.

I do not like Daniel either. At the present time, I have to use Samantha.
However when Alex comes on iOS eight, he will be my preferred voice as I use
him on the back!
