Hi Anne,
This is kind of my experience. However I find that, if I create activities fr
apps they remember the hotspots. They might not remember wether to monitor or
not but the actual place is remembered as long as it has data in it. For
example, in itunes I have hotspots in the lcd section to

Hi Anne,
Did I understand correctly that for you hotspots are remembered within the
application? I find on my mac that, if I set a hotspot in one app and then
change apps, it returns me to the first app. To have 10 hotspots in each app I
have to save them in activities.
Thanks for clarifying
Hi Anne,
thanks for the respond. And thanks for the good idea.

Hello Jürgen,
Hotspots can certainly be unstable, especially in applications where objects
are moved around on the screen. I also find that they can be tricky to set
correctly sometimes. I use them in Pages to monitor what styles are being used,
and for that, each HotSpot has to be set on each
What are your experiences of Hot Spots? I tried it a few times but each time
after a short period of time VO forgot the hot spots. I'm wondering wether it
was a users mistake or wether hot spots are not very stable and reliable.
All the best

Hello Chris,
The Hotspots are only remembered within the application, so you can have up to
10 Hotspots for each application you use.

Hi all.
Sorry, me again! I'm excited, I'm playing with the mac even more.
I've been playing around with hotspots and web spots.
Is there a way to have different hotspots for different applications?
For instance, i use a hotspot for iTunes to go to the lcd section and one for
the sources list.

Hi.
In Mail I have two hotspots set up, VO 0 for the search box and VO 9 for the
inbox message list. Whenever I press VO 0 and do a search, I can no longer
press VO 9 and get back to the message list to read the messages that match
the search. When I press VO 9 twice and call up the hotspot list
