but with the ones from the appstore, I haven’t found a way to do this.

I use several languages on my Mac (High Sierra).
When I switch to the language other that my default (system) language , the
new synthesizer still tries to pronounce all the punctuation in system
language. Sounds sometimes really weird. Is there any way to change it?
