I don't know what the host names were for my two installations so
not sure about this. But since the screen on my Mac broke while doing a
startup from Sonoma to Ventura, things got dicey in Ventura. Am going to
do yet another fresh install of Ventura and see what I get for a host name

I also have a dual OS boot setup, using both Sonoma and Mojave on the same HDD.
This may not be the same issue, but I will always get a message that I cannot
connect to iCloud after switching from Sonoma to Mojave. It requires I sign in
again with my Apple ID in System Preferences to resolv
Doubt it. My Sonoma install is fine. I am going to again reinstall a
fresh copy of Ventura and hopefully, with care, resolve all the issues.

I wonder if this is part of Apple’s response to preventing the Android to
iMessage gateway product (perhaps called beeper) that Apple was having to lock
down iCloud accounts. Perhaps there is code preventing multiple OS’s on the
same hardware from access iCloud services.
This is entirely guesswo
Further information. I find I cannot sign out of Apple ID as it just
hangs there making no progress.
I welcome suggestions on how to address this, thanks.

Not when all these apps are not responding! Other native apps that
do not access Apple ID open as expected.
